1. The site for the buses is http://oasth.gr/#en/
2. The closest stop to the MET hotel is called IHTHIOSCALA (it is on the same street with the hotel). The only bus passing by from this stop convenient for the participants is the 31: VOULGARY - KTEL (bus stop code maybe useful for the website of oasth: 01322). The bus stop with direction to the city centre is across the street, again called IHTHIOSCALA (code: 01323). The participants can check the route of 31 bus to book their hotel accordingly.

5. In case of interest, this website https://www.regroup.gr has some interesting deals (food, drinks, going out, etc). Unfortunately, it is only in Greek.
6. Students are entitled to half fare at most touristic attractions with a valid student card (sometimes entrance is even for free).
7. Apart from visiting the most famous monuments of the city, it is worth walking at Aristotelous square (buy an ice-cream from Fregio) and the new beach (= nea paralia it is called in Greek) until the Concert hall (=megaro mousikis) (do it better with daylight to make nice pictures). Don’t forget to eat: trigono panoramatos, tsoureki from Terkenlis, macedonian halva. Places (of personal preference) for food and drinks: Aigli Geni Hamam, Garcon, Omilos, Kitchen Bar, Stoa Dragoumi.
